A Tale of Two Cities

Here is a record of my wanderings around London and Paris, just in case you wanted to know what I was up to on the other side of the Atlantic . . .

Another summer day has come and gone away in Paris and Rome . . .

And I'm coming back home!

Don't worry, everyone, I promise that I'll get back on once I get there (for free! imagine that!) and finish telling you all about it. I feel like I really haven't told you anything about Paris. But circumstances are working against me again-- the place was closed yesterday and Sunday, and today I've been in here for almost 3 hours, but all of it had to be spent on writing my final. (a short but very complicated essay on the relationship between art and reality--never mind that we haven't really defined either of those terms!)

And now it's off to dinner, and my last ice cream on the island (you don't know how much I'm going to miss that!), and making sure I really did pack everything, and spending the last evening with my classmates, who, after six weeks, are like my family. So, unless I can get back before this place closes, this is it from Paris!
The bus comes to pick us up at 7:20 in the morning, and I just hope I'm awake. Our plane leaves at about 11 in the morning Paris time, and arrives at DFW at about 2:30 Texas time.

I am so ready to get home.

I love you all-- can't wait to see some of you tomorrow, and don't stop reading, because there's a lot more to tell. (Just give me a day to get over my jet lag.)

How I wish I was at the airport to hug your neck! And then off to the house to sit around and ooh and aah and hear all about it.
Hope you journey back goes well and I will look forward to reading some more.

I hope you had a nice time in Europe. I don't know when I'll see you, but I hope it will be soon. With Eric, of course! ;^) I like the picture of the Eiffel Tower. I hope to go to Europe someday, too, like to Ireland, Scotland, and Paris. But I guess that's WAY in the future for me anyway.
